A new Tot to Top

That’s right…it is what you are thinking!  This knitter is having a kid next year.  Boy #3 to be more precise!  The big brothers are very excited and of course, I can’t wait to design a namesake piece for him.  But for now I’ll content myself with working up a Gramps for next winter.

The new baby is due early next May, and his name is Oliver Henry.

I’ve been working hard on my book over here…actually there is a sneak peek in the above picture!  Something still in progress of course.  In addition, I made the boys some Christmas sweaters.  I’ve been talking about them in my Ravelry group for quite some time AND, I did a guest blog post on Craftsy.com last week that talks all about adding colorwork to your knitting. If this is a topic you’re interested, I’ll invite you to go and check out that post.

Bye for now–  And hope your holiday season is off to a great start.  I’ll leave you with the boys out enjoying their sweaters while we shopped for our tree…and it was close to 70 degrees….  Sigh, South Carolina!

Congratulations, Kate! So that must’ve been kind of hard for you not to spill the beans when I said I was going to get to wear my shirt (like the one above)! First thing I wondered then, was were you brand -new pregnant at Stitches MW, or not quite yet, and I think you must’ve been if my math is right! I can’t believe how much you’re showing already – I’m 2 months behind you and not showing at all yet, but can’t wait to! :D And I love the name Oliver – nice choice.

I was looking for a great toddler xmas sweater on Ravelry this year and didn’t have much success. Just finished Roar hat and mittens set…so much fun to knit and my almost 3 year old loves them. Thanks for all your great boy knit patterns! :) Can’t wait for the book.
